A trip to the seaside

I’m going to Whitby tomorrow! 2 days by the sea! Nice as nice can be!   Me and Lauren and her rents, a good old fashioned trip to the seaside, yay. So I shall see y’all soon. We shall return by Thursday, not that any of you care but I’m telling you anyway. To those of you who do care, thanks for listening. Or reading, whatever.

Jack Bauer #2

Oh today was a lovely day. It was a classic Sunday in all respects - lots of tea, crappy weather, a short stroll, reading the paper —- oh and with the paper came a free Donnie Darko DVD, the real thing!! — so it was all good. Oh and a little bit of painting, I’m creating some little masterpieces for my project. Hehe.
Let us return to the favourite subject of the day, 24. I opted not to watch it tonight on sky because as i remember. . .yes it spoilt it all last week IDIOT naomi never watch a series if you haven’t seen the previous ones, a little tip there. Jack Bauer’s adventures deserve full chronological respect.
Let’s just pay homage to another whom i gather is another JB Appreciator - www.johng.co.uk . John, I salute you. And don’t worry - there’s nothing wrong with TV being the highlight of your day. I know several people who depend on the ol’ box. I mean, TV helps us escape our mundane lives for a while. Especially if you’re watching X Files or something..
Anyway I must go because Mother is trying to get me to sort out universities and things. God, I hate all this open day-applying-personal statement thing. It’s all CRAP

Jack Bauer

Yeh Jack Bauer is well cool.
 
Sooo this week. Has been a pretty crappy week, back to the norm n all after the splendid trip to you know where. So it was crappy. Apart from yesterday I went to the pub, so it made it all better! :)
 
I’m currently trying very hard and failing ever so slightly to grasp my Grade 5 exam pieces.. in the end I am just listening to them lots on the CD to try and drill the tunes into my head lol. Actually I am getting a bit better at them, some parts are just difficile. BUT not impossible..
 
I think I’m taking my exam in the summer sometime. It’s pretty sad cos when I go to uni in September I won’t be able to study anymore for my Grades. Which didn’t bother me before but since I took my Grade 4 it’s really starting to annoy me :(  I never thought about it but now I really want to get better and better and pass my Grade 8 and it’s going to be more difficult to do that now. 
 
I wonder.. I guess I could be able to keep taking my exams if I had access to a piano at uni. OHH I forget I gotta pass my Grade 5 thoery ..haaa…oh dear. ‘Write a solo for the bassoon.’ was one of the questions. What the fuck. I don’t even know what a bassoon sounds like.

SNOW in New York

26 inches!!
WELL at first I was majorly pissed off, but now it seems I’m quite glad it didn’t snow while we were there cos we wudda been pretty stuffed really in all respects..i only had trainers with me! i think we all wudda died of cold and stuff. Although it wudda been so cool to see all the city all snowy. Apparently people were skiing down Broadway. Damn.
 
College was so bad today, I ran away from life drawing early because it was draining the very life from me. And the turpentine smell was making me go crazy. Mmm turps..
Unfortunatly I had to walk home from Heage which was quite a way really. Grr.
 
Stupidly I watched the new series of 24 last night..but I was so intrigued!! As soon as I watched it I realised it would be better to start from where I left off. I think I’m on season 3. And stuffs happened in season 5 now and it’s spoilt it..a little! :’( BUt never mind. It’s only TV. Only TV…
I love 24! It’s so awesome. Jack Bauer! What a badass! Pretty cool dude, apart from all the mass killings n stuff. But they were all bad guys so I guess it’s justified. Hehh.
 
I watched Walk The Line on the aeroplane..it was also equally if not more awesome! It was so good I watched it twice. No it really is good, seriously! Hot damn, you know when you see a film and you can’t stop thinking about it for like a week because the story and the characters were so amazing, well that’s what Walk The Line is like, it’s really good and it’s just quality acting all the way through!! And the songs were cool as well in a kind of weird country way. Lol.
So go see it, even if it’s just for the beaut Joaquin Phoenix. Legend.
 
Oh one more thing. I’m going to a dinner party tomorrow! For ye olde Valentino Day.. And in true Naomi fashion it is indeed a singles dinner party, I am so looking forward to it, it’s gonna be a lot of fun with friends!! :) Thankyou Emma Poll for saving my ass from certain deathly boredom while everyone is out bumming!!  
I actually think that Valentine’s Day should be re-named to ‘Couples Day’, bacause the only people who celebrate the bloomin thing is people who are in a relationship! It’s just an excuse for presents, posh food and sex! Does anyone actually send anonymous Valentines cards anymore? No. Maybe when you’re 10. I guess it’s possibly the cheesiest way of expressing your undying love for someone haha.
Fair play tho, fair play to those who send them tomorrow. 
I’ve never received a Valentines card. Not really bothered, I think it would freak me out more at the thought that someones been stalking me lol. Nah only kiddin. Send away!! Someone?? *wind blows ominously* Heh heh silly naomi
 
So that’s it for this multicoloured paragraphical weblog. I hope you are dazed by the bright and dazzling colours, in the best way possible. I sure am. I like colours, have you noticed?

I’m BACK!

I didn’t wanna leave!! OH man what a fucking crazy amazing place! Hmmm shall I just write a little bit saying I had a great time or shall I give y’all the whole thing?
Meh, I’ll decide later. But I think..it is possibly the best place I have ever visited in my entire life. It’s weird cos there’s so much negative feeling towards America in general at the moment, loads of people don’t wanna go there. I didn’t want to when all the shit went down. But Im so glad i went cos it was amazing!!
Most of the stuff I saw there I was just like stood there gawping like an idiot ha ha ha like stuff that I’d never seen anything like in my entire life, the fuckin buildings are MASSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We went to Times Square, and went up the Empire State Building at night so it was like miles and miles and miles of lights stretching all the way down manhattan it was awesome to look at but sooooooooo COLD I nearly froze to death up there lol.
Oh ha ha the people were so funny there was loads of people talking to themselves and like all the black guys were rapping as they were walking down the street, no shit haha twas so funny like a cliche fulfilled. Yeh there were so many movie cliches in the flesh,  its all true!! haha.. our bus driver on the way to the city was so fuckin hilarious, he was JUST LIKE that black cop outta Die Hard 1, you know that dude with the twinkies called Al..hahaa he was so cool. Oh and twinkies actualy do exist people, it’s true, theyre sponge cakes filled with butter icing cream stuff!!! ohhh very sweeet lol.
Yeh the food was pretty phat mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm god i had all the classics..mmm pancakes with syrup
pretzels were nice n all!
all in all a very amazing place. so if you ever get the oppurtunity to go to new york make sure you go because its sucha  different place to experience and its awwwwwwwwwwwesome especially the food mmmm haha so yeh if i think of anything else pretty cool  i shall blog it cos Im pretty in love with new york now he hee its cool shit.
If you’re still reading now, I take my hat off to you. But oh wait it’s not as long as it could be. So be grateful! Unless you enjoy my writing. Then I do trulyt take my hat off to you and thankyou for reading my little New York love affair essay (but it really was amazing :D ) x x x x x x x x x xx   
 
Oh also, I only got a few digi pics to put up cos my stupid camera broke the 1st day we were ther :| not impressed. But I’ve got loads on my normal camera hehe
