Woop woop! So it’s all good in the world of Naomi, I’ve been accepted at uni and the future is orange. And bright I suppose. And I’ve just been thinking about summer holidays and it’s got me all hopeful for the sunshine and the flowers. I would like to go to Greece but I duno if I can afford it! If that doesn’t work out then it’s camping trip to France heh heh

In other news, my pool skills have definitly gone downhill. I used to be an acceptable player, now I am just terrible. I think its difficult to play pool when you’re having a conversation at the same time, it’s distracting! Or I’m just crap lol

I have a conditional offer!!!!!!!! WICKED!

I had my interview today for Visual Communication at the UCE in Brum. Thank God that’s out the way now!! I’m really glad it’s all over. It just took up so much brain space thinking about it. The interview was different to how I thought it would be, there was about 20 of us and they told us to put our portfolios in a room where lecturers looked at our work without us whilst we had a presentation about the course in another room (unfortunatly the same one from the open day!!). Then they called us in one by one for an individual interview but it wasn’t so nervewracking, it was a formal interview but my interviewer was really nice and I felt really at ease so that was ok!! And the questions he asked me, they were what I expected so I managed to come up with some sensible replies So that was all ok. It’s all out of my hands now though..

I’ll survive. I’m going to chill out tonight and watch some 24 which I have just acquired from Tim.. Remember folks - Jack Bauer Appreciation Day, May 9th! Don’t forget now!

In other news today.

My portfolio is almost spick and span and totally finished which I’m dead pleased about. All that I need to do now for my interview is try and think up some pre-meditated answers to the questions I’m sure they’re going to ask me. It’s not cheating! It’s just being prepared :) 

Another piece of news. I saw Hannah last night, who I haven’t seen since Christmas! And that was soooooooo long ago. So that was a pretty groovy catch-up.

You know the most amazing thing happened last night. I went out to Belper and the grand, grand total I spent there was.. £1.90. That’s under two quid!! Yes! For some reason, I know it’s shocking but I didn’t feel like drinking, plus I had almost no money anyway. But I still enjoyed myself. Now that’s a moral of the story and a half. Woo

The other moral is, never try and melt cheese in a microwave for more than 30 seconds. Because if you do, the cheese does not exist as cheese anymore but becomes a pool of grease, which you will have a hard time putting onto your cream crackers. That was a lesson well learnt I can tell you

I went to un party last night, it was nice and chilled, not too many people running around like insane asylum inmates so it was cool cool. Unfortunately the food had all been eaten from the previous night’s shenanigans (see previous post), but Rosie did manage to find a Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake…*slaver slaver*…so we ate that with gusto. Yum!!

Today I plan to create something beautiful on paper with pencils and paint. Has to be done, work to do etc. Other plans I have today are 1) searching under the sofa cushions for loose change so I can afford to go out tonight, and also 2) ermm yeh that’s about it. Oh yeh watching Neighbours and Monk. Gotta love Mr. Monk. He’s a legend

In the words of..oh what’s his name..no! The guy in the Addams family..I can’t believe I’ve forgot it..this is terrible…Mr. Addams! What’s his name.. I have a mental block! GOMEZ!! That’s it. You know I just had to google the Addams family to find that out. I am appalled with myself. Anyway where was I? Oh God I can’t remember

Some of the food on offer last night at ROSIE’S house, and boy did I enjoy partaking in the consumption of it all!! What a feast! What a joyous occasion! And coupled with all that yum food was several films..mainly Moulin Rouge (sad) and Grease (mimed). We should do nights in more often, it was so fun hehe. Basically involves eating and sittin on your ass - that’s my kinda entertainment, woop.

And I gotta go to a party tonight..at Rosie’s house lol. It should also be good. More music and dancing I expect. 

So arrr I’m having a nice day. I got my new carpet in my room which is relatively exciting since I haven’t had anything new in my room for about 12 years. Lol. It’s beige-y colour, quite normal, but I get to paint the walls some wacky colours so good shit. Well not too wacky cos otherwise it’ll make the room look even smaller than it is. And I really, really don’t want that lol. I can barely take two steps it’s so mini-fied.

Hopefully some green paint will be involved. You know I love green and blue.

Anyway you know I gotta head off now, and just a little warning to Tim: change my blogs again and I’ll be very upset. Good lad.

I write to you whilst being deafened by my brother on the pinball machine, who felt the need to turn the volume up all the way at half 10 in the morning..early-ish…

Unfortunately, Sunday provided no oppurtunity for egg hunts, even though we bought a million little eggs from Lidl, no less, for everyone to enjoy. So we just ate the eggs. BUT! Here come the other unfortunate event. Because the eggs were from Lidl they were german chocolate, which I have nothing against, but they were all filled with fecking liquor! Childrens chocolate eggs, decorated with butterflys and rabbits, with a shot of advocat in the middle!! Is this what Germany feeds their kids at Easter?

I’m disturbed, to say the least.

Well my major project is going OK, just need to keep goin in the ol’ sketchbook..Once I create something worth showing I’ll slam it up on my sister site, lol. Sister site. I like that.

Anyway I best go, lots to achieve today..and also, I’m really really hungry!! Mmm advocat egg

Well I had a most enjoyable day yesterday, my cousins came up and we went on a walk to the good ol’ Mermaid Pool. Then by jove we saw all the balloons going up from the Hurt Arms so we went and watched them and I was about ——-this far away from the Ladybird hehe and I thought it was gonna fall on me! But nay, I cheated death and the Ladybird took it’s usual course up into the thin air of the whaddyacallit …thing. Ozone thing. Hemisphere atmosphere. Anyway, it went up. Heh

So, Easter Sunday. I really want to do an easter egg hunt, but I think everyone I know is earning a living today. Then theres me, every employer hates me. I’m sure there’s like a secret memo going round Belper..Don’t employ Naomi. She’s evil.. or something. Lol. I still may do an egg hunt though, just for kicks. Anyone wanna join in?

Anyway I must leave this update for a while, it seems my prescense is needed in the garden.
