Boo!
Tuesday, September 26th, 2006Been up to various thingalings, went to see The Black Dahlia last night - it was good. The sepia tones were wicked. But the third act, you could call it, was a bit muddled and I wasn’t sure when or where it was going to end! I like 1940s style flicks and it was done very stylishly, there was a good mix of all the right factors to make a good film but it kinda lost it toward the end. But I did enjoy it, who doesn’t enjoy a murder mystery. So I’d give it 3/5!!
Anyhoo, uni life is fine. Been given our first brief, kinda an introductory unit so nothing too complique. Wierd thing is there’s not a fixed weekly timetable, apart from Monday is thoery lectures and Thursday is core modules that everyone has to go in for. The rest of the week is something called ‘Self Directed Learning’, basically means you just get the hell on with it! They’ve said you can work at home or come into uni. Only thing is, that’s just a temptation to be a lazy bastard isn’t it? God. I think I’m gonna make a point of actually going into uni to do my work, so I’m not at the flat getting distracted by eBay/music/internet/people. So hopefully I’ll work something out that suits me.
That’s all for now, I’m going to some galleries today with my flatmate Evelyn, well that’s what they told us to do, I quote “Go see some art!” So, go see some art is what we will do. Hehe. See y’all. x
