Maybe it’s just a matter of opinion

Howdy… I have not blogged for a while. A number of reasons for this. I’ve been quite busy and things but to be perfectly honest I don’t think anyone reads my blog, so I suppose I’m just typing to myself? Well I’m going to keep going just incase someone does bother. I enjoy it.

I’ve also been finally bullied into getting a myspace, so yeh I could blog on there if I wanted to. But on myspace there’s no room for…thoughts and ponderings. I like to ponder. It’s just everyone trying to be cooler than everyone else. And taking sexy pictures of themselves for their profile.

I’ve been considering Birmingham. I never thought a city could be such a nice place. Yes it’s noisy and I hate that, but apart from that I really like the hustle n bustle. The buildings are all new and shiny and the shops are all glittery. And the public transport is ace.

Saying this, I miss la campagne. Quand j’ai retourne au Ambergate le weekend dernier, c’etait tres bizarre parce qu’il y a un odeur des champs et des feuilles. Hehe. C’est tres propre la. Birmingham sent mal, comme les voitures.

That is to be expected though. I’m going to see Saw 3 tonight, no idea why, I freaked out completely at the first one and refused to see the second. Yep, I must be crazy. Or just mildly drugged..

I leave you now, if you want to look at myspace I suppose you could, but I like it here. www.myspace.com/naomipomi

xxx also naomiporter.co.uk is back in action

Us and Them

Thought of the moment - I really like charcoal. As a medium, I mean. Lol. I don’t just randomly enjoy charcoal’s company. Well I do, because it creates such wonderful results. :)

In other news - i’m coming back to Ambergate for the weekend. Whoop di do. I can play on my piano and get a square meal - huzzah! Oh and I may take my washing back for my dear mother. :D

- Also. I just watched Platoon, it was really good but as far as Vietnam war films go I like Apocalypse Now better :D What a film. A film and a half, one could say.

                      - That’s all. Good night! And remember - charcoal. If in doubt, charcoal.

8 Bar Blues

Wednesday, October 4th, 2006

Just been to Bar 42, our student bar. What a place! Lol. It’s so cheap, and everyone is so friendly. It’s nice. But I’ve come home cos I’m feeling a bit tired.

I miss my piano. I’m half a person without it. I know it’s silly but that’s how it is! It’s frustrating not being able to sit down at the piano and twiddle around with the notes. Very frustrating! I get bored in the evenings sometimes, and when that happened at home I’d go to my piano and that always made me feel better. Here I’ve got my computer which is much fun, but there’s only so much fun you can have on a computer. Not that I don’t like it, I love my PC. But I need my piano.

My dad says he’s looking into getting me a keyboard for uni. So that’d be really good. That’d solve it all.

Right I’m dead tired now so I’m gonna fall into bed. x

How odd

I just read this book, right, and it was really good and I enjoyed it etc, but by God I didn’t have a CLUE what was going on by the end. The writer obviously did, but I must have missed the, um, hidden message and the ending was completely meaningless to me! I’m sure I was meant to know what was happening. It’s called A Small Killing by Alan Moore. As I say, it was really good. I was looking forward to the story actually going somewhere I understood but unfortunatly it didn’t lol. Has anybody read it and can help me with my stupid brain??

Anyhoo, Birmingham is sunny today. A welcome prospect. I don’t start til 2pm on a Monday as well, heh heh, so I’ve had a leisurely morning, as you do. True, I do have thoery lectures later. But I think I’m going to end up enjoying them. Apparently we’re doing a case study of South Park somewhere in this module!! Can’t say it aint fun!
