Has been a while, lots of stuff has cracked off recently so I’ve only just got back in rhythm with my online duties! Well it was the end of my modules so I was working my bum off for that, we had this skiing holiday to organise too, and then four days before we were due to go, my Grandma sadly passed away, in her sleep which provides some consolation, but obviously everyone in my family was very upset about it. Nevertheless our family is really close and we all managed to work out the arrangements for the funeral and stuff before we went on holiday. Bit of a hectic week. So we were able to go thankfully, I wouldn’t have liked to have missed it despite the circumstances, I think it’s what my Grandma would have wanted, or something. I hope she didn’t mind too much.
The funeral service was really well put together, it was upsetting but the history of Grandma’s life was really nice to hear and I found out some stuff I never even knew about her! So it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Me and all my cousins got to leave her some flowers too, on the card we put ‘Thankyou for all the blackberry mousse and shortbread!!’ I know it sounds awful to an outsider, but the best thing we remember about Grandma is when we’d visit her house she would have made this huge bowl of mousse with blackberries from the garden and a tin of shortbread YUM! Yay.
Anyway, skiing was awesome, of course. I got me snowblades out and they were FUN! Yes twas awesome. I got some pics on Photobucket, my I.d is naomipomi if you’re at all bothered!
So yeah. Good times and bad times all rolled into one.

Saw a really good film last night, called The Lives Of Others, set in 80s communist Germany all about the East/West divide and the Stasi and that. Even though I didn’t really know much about that before seeing it I still liked it and I think I even understood it to some extent lol..quite complex when you’re not hot on the history of it! But yeah. Wicked stuff.
