hellO. eVERY ONE watch the sky for METEORITES this week as the Perseids are currently passing through the neighbourhood! Only the night before last I saw The Best THing Ever to be seen by me in the sky, I was walking up the road (after a stupid long shift at the Spar) and to my delight and wonderment a HUGE shooting star went PPPPPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHH!!! Through the sky to my right, it was bright as day and it had I kid you not a SMOKE TRAIL as it flew through our upper atmosphere and disintegrated into nothing! WOW! A smoke trail. I’d never seen anything like it before in my life, and I was so excited I ran up the rest of Newbridge Road (unheard of) and woke everyone up in my house to tell them what I’d seen. Cue me standing on the balcony for ages with my neck at a record breaking angle searching for other Perseids. Although I did see a satellite, no other signs from the heavens occured for me.

It was like outer space came and shook my hand for a second then went back up. It was ace.

In other news, a) I have booked a holiday today! I’m going to Greece! Crete in fact. I’m well excited. 

b) I have just started drawing today for the first time in about a month and it feels excellent. :)
